whats your favorite soul food dish?
im black and all my family iz frm the south so everytime i go to missippi or i go to compton where my family lives they make soul food and i LOVE it so tell me what kind of soulfood u like

black eyed peas
smothered pork chops
chicken
hot water cornbread
cornbread
white rice with the smotheres stuff on it
greens
cabbage
yams
gumbo
jumbalaya
and alot of other things so lol!!

Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, collard greens, real macaroni and cheese made from scratch. I’m a white girl but I live in the south and I love all the things you listed. Creamed corn, ribs, all kind of bbq.
