What’s your definition of Soul Food ?
What foods make your soul tingle ? Or at least make your mouth water even more enough to go for seconds .
My soul foods would be ::
Mac & Cheese
Pad See Ew
Sewer Soup (Personal Recipe)
Mashed Potato
Cheesy Tots
Cheese Balls
Lasagna (Any Kind)
Alfredo
I try to avoid these foods many times because of the high calories .
my collard greens, i cook them with onions, peppers, margerine, and smoked neck bones, or smoked turkey necks. i love collard greens. I was raised on soul food, being that my mom and grandmom was from Virginia, and always kept the table spread, morning, noon and night. Homemade biscuits, and all, the whole nine. I don’t see but one soul food item on your list, it would be the macaroni and cheese, (no offense)! If you want to know some of my other recipes, but get in touch with me through Answers.
